Life’s Journey of Mr. Robert Lee Sherrer
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be n more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
Robert Lee Sherrer, Jr., was born on October 11. 1948, in Lake Village, Arkansas to his parents the Late Robert Sherrer Jr. and Lucy Sherrer. He made his transition peacefully on December 12, 2024, surrounded by his children in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Robert Sherrer, Jr., was known as Bo, Squeeze Head, Bo Jangle, War Pony, and The King. He joined church at an early age in Wilmot Arkansas. His craft were working as a mechanic. However, he worked as a farmer and was skilled at fixing appliances. His hobbies were riding horses, and motorcycles. Robert never met a stranger. To know him is to Love him. He loved to dance with his daughters, and his favorite song was “I’ll pay the Shipping Cost”. He loved having fun. During his battle with cancer and under hospice care, he continued to live his life to the fullest, and doing what he wanted to do. You could hear him saying how GOD was keeping him here for a purpose. Bringing his children together as one was a goal he accomplished. Robert friend and family kept him on his feet. He did battle with cancer, it did not stop him from living. The hardest part was during Thanksgiving 2024, when he informed his children and grandchildren this would be his last holiday with us. He knew GOD was preparing him for his heavenly home.
Robert is proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Robert and Mrs. Lucy Sherrer, wife Mrs. Mattie Lee Lindsey-Sherrer, one daughter Ms. Lajuana Jackson, two sons Mr. Keith Lindsey, and Mr. Deon Lindsey. One granddaughter Miss. Keasilon Lindsey, and one grandson Mr. Montreal Jackson.
Robert memories will be cherished by three daughters, his caregiver and his Mrs. Jaquita (Tramer) Lindsey-Moore of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Miss Mashona Jackson of Alexander, Arkansas and Miss Katrina Brown of Texas. Six sons Mr. Christopher Sherrer, Mr. Kentrell Lindsey. Mr. Robert Sherrer 3rd, Mr. Michael (Monique) Moore, all of Little Rock Arkansas, Mr. Daniel Riink of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Camareo Goodwin, Fayetteville Arkansas.
One sister Miss. Sherrie Sherrer, of Arlington, Texas. Nine brothers Mr. Willie Cee Sherrer, Mr. Roy Cee Sherrer, Mr. Bobby (Jackie) Sherrer, and Mr. Sindey (Vernetta) Sherrer, all of Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Hughie (ED) (Shirley) Sherrer, and Mr. Wayne Sherrer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Larry (Delia), and Mr. Terry Sherrer of Little Rock Arkansas, and Pastor Billy Ray Sherrer (Evangelist Bertha Sherrer) of Parkdale Arkansas. One Aunt Sadie Lambert of Bastrop Louisiana, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, children, nieces, nephews and friends.
