Raymond "Ray" Williams, aged 66, transitioned on August 3, 2024, surrounded by all of his children. He was born on February 8, 1958, in Altheimer, Arkansas.
He devoted his life to Christ at a young age, Ray graduated from Parkview High School class of 1977, excelling as a guard and recognized for his high shooting percentage. He took pride in being a Parkview Patriot .
Raymond was also a member of the Top Riders Motorcycle Club, he was known for his love of Cadillacs, family, and his role as a provider. He worked multiple jobs at times simultaneously to ensure his family's well-being, from Williams & Sons constructions to being a CDL truck driver for many trucking companies .
His dedication never wavered, even as his health declined. His unwavering faith in God sustained him during his 25-year battle with dialysis showcasing his resilience in the face of adversity.
Despite his disability, Ray's determination knew no bounds. He not only cared for his elderly mother but also managed his own health. His children were his guiding light, bringing joy to his life.
Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Louis Edward Williams, brothers Charles Edward Williams and Don Ellis Williams, his son Raymond Rashad Williams, and two granddaughters.
Ray is survived by his mother; Fannie Mae Williams, a sister; Linda Joyce Citizen, of Long Beach, California, his children; DeShawn Anderson, Denisha Williams, Deidra Williams, Dominique Williams-Austin (Montrell), Rakia Williams, Epiphani Wilson, and Brittany Grays, all from Little Rock, Arkansas, 20 grandchildren, 3 nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends to celebrate his life and legacy.
