Peggy Elaine Phillips

Peggy Elaine Phillips 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2024. She passed peacefully at Cottage Lane Health and Rehab. 

Peggy knew and accepted Christ at a young age where she became a long and faithful member of Saint Paul Baptist Church. Preceding her in death father, Leon C.A. Phillips; mother, Iola “Sue” Roark Phillips; brother, Osie Lee Roark. 

 She was a proud graduate of Parkview High School class of 79’ where she ran track. She was a loving mother to three beautiful children, a caring grandmother, sibling, and a great friend to many.  She was employed with the Arkansas Education Association earlier in her career. She also held a position at the Little Rock Police Department for years before retiring from Walmart in 2021. 

Peggy had a passion for cooking, that was how she showed love to her family and friends she never met a stranger. She loved being a mother, traveling, spending time with her family, interior decorating and enjoying life to the fullest. She loved the Lord, and it was shown in the way she lived her life she would help anyone in need no matter the circumstance. She had a style like no other and a smile that could light up a room. Her presence will be greatly missed. 

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter, Shanika Lashae Mason; one son, Bryan Calvin Salley Jr. (Quita); and her daughter, Brittni Chenea Phillips; one brother, Dorsey Lee Roark; one sister, Helen Deon Stewart; all of Little Rock, AR, her grandchildren, Sydnee Cheron Brown; Ja’Niya La’Sha Knox; and Jiaire` Johnathan Brooks, and a host of relatives and friends.
