Nateshia R'Ella Bush

September 24, 1988 — September 11, 2024

Little Rock

Ms. Nateshia R’Ella Bush, affectionately known as “TEE or TEE TEE”, was born to Stanley Wayne Bush and the late Vickie Y. Bush on September 24, 1988. She was preceded in death by her mother, paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and her two sons Andre Jackson Jr. and Bryson Jackson.

Nateshia confessed her belief in Christ at an early age at St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Cato, AR. She was a great servant throughout her life. She served as the Sunday school pianist and secretary during her younger days. She was a faithful choir and praise team member. She assisted with the direction of the Sunshine Choir amongst many other assignments and duties entrusted to her over the years.

Nateshia graduated from North Pulaski High School. It was during her high school years that Tee suffered the tragedy of losing her mom. Amid this tragedy, she managed to remain strong, determined, focused, and grounded through her faith in Christ and with the support of her loving family. Tee stayed active in high school with her extracurricular activities. She was a proud member of the band, flag line and the choir. Tee was still repping her band letterman jacket that she wore proudly and faithfully from the time of purchase through the most recent winter. She also played a vital role in both her older and younger brother’s lives in the absence of their mother.

Nateshia continued to soar after high school. She attended college at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. There, she was a proud member of the flag line as she worked towards her bachelor’s degree. She participated in numerous clubs and platforms that she believed were doing good works for the students. Tee was the only one of three cousins who had a car while attending ASU. Being the caring and generous person she always was, she graciously shared her transportation with her cousins. However, being Tee, they had to adhere to what they all learned to affectionately refer to as “Tee’s terms.”

Eventually, Nateshia transferred to University of Arkansas at Little Rock to be closer to home and complete her bachelor’s degree. She continued her education by attending Strayer University, where she obtained a master’s degree in public administration. Her degrees afforded her the opportunity to gain employment with the State of Arkansas. She worked for several different state entities throughout her career.

Nateshia was always a very intriguing and very intelligent young woman. The determination ingrained in her allowed her to obtain any goals she set forth. Her personality was larger than life itself. In short, she was a force to be reckoned with and a force of nature all wrapped up in one small package. In most situations, “NO” was not an answer she could accept. She always demanded things be the “Tee” way. Nateshia was a very loving person. She loved younger children and always saw fit to assist with guiding them in positive life directions. She loved singing, directing, karaoke, coordinating, socializing, instigating, and living life to the fullest. Her middle of the night, early morning sentimental, “I love you” and “I just want to talk” wake up calls were not always welcomed but will truly be missed. The memories that she leaves will never be forgotten. One of the last texts sent by her read, “Good afternoon, I’m texting everyone personally just letting you know that I’m having a gathering out here in Cato, Saturday, September 21, 2024. Karaoke and Kards….for my birthday. I got the food, but it’s BYOB”. As stated before, she always demanded things be done in the “Tee” way. This may not be the gathering we expected, but here we all sit on September 21, 2024, in Cato for the celebration of her life.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Stanley Wayne Bush (Florence) of Little Rock, AR; her grandmother, Mae Etta Love of Cato, AR; two brothers, D’Andre Neyland (Barbara) of North Little Rock, AR and Stanley L. Bush of Little Rock; her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
