Lady Leora Elizabeth Forte'

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, welcomed our beloved wife, mother, nana, aunt, friend, and first lady, Leora Elizabeth Forte', into His eternal rest. Known to many as Sis. Liz, she was born on May 19, 1955, to the late Frederick T. Smith, Sr., and Mary Alice Tramble Smith. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Latasha "Tasha" Forte'-Jones, and her sister, Gloria Ross. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Pastor William E. Forte'; a son, Quincy Forte', a daughter, Neondra Forte'- Cain (Quintin); grandchildren; Alexus Forte', Kiara Forte', Ciara Jones, Kelsie Coleman, Keegan Cain, and Kierstin Cain; siblings, Fredrick Smith (Dorothy), Otis Smith, and David Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road in North Little Rock
