Lady Hester Pike was born on March 8,1946 to Earl Dotson and Hattie Dotson and departed this life on July 23,2024.
Lady accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Scott, Arkansas where she was a lifetime member.
Ms. Lady was a caring mother who was always there. Her love and kindness was endearing not just to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren but to her family and church family. She was very supportive and would often share her wisdom, guidance and unconditional abundant love with family and friends.
Lady was outgoing and loved the adventures of her life. She was very passionate about her relationship with the Lord and loved to fellowship with others in the congregation of her church family. A woman of prayer and faith. She will be sadly missed by all.
Lady was preceded in death by her son Kevin Ziegler; Brothers John Arthur, Earl Jr, MacArthur, Joe Lee, James Dotson Sr, and Robert Edward Dotson; and one sister Laura Cutts.
Ms. Lady is survived by her children Rickey(Renee) Robinson, Melvette Austin both of Little Rock, Arkansas, Melvin D Ziegler Jr of Schertz, Texas, Paulette (Terry) Ziegler-Pointer of Geronimo, Oklahoma. Sibling: Rev. Arnette (Lydia) Dotson of Sherwood, Arkansas, Della (Joe) Heard of Coco Beach, Florida, Carrie (Erma) Sandifer of Sacramento, California. 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members as well as loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 2621 Toltec Mounds Road in Scott, Arkansas, at 11:00am. A public visitation will be held Tuesday July 30, 2024 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm in the Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
