Kevin Lynn Foy, also known as Eight-ball, was born September 23,1969 to Ella Cookie McFadden and Henry James Elston. Kevin spent much of his childhood in Forrest City, Arkansas, where he was raised by his adoptive parents Smith and Delores Foy.
Kevin professed his love for God at an early age and became a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Forrest City, AR and continued his faith at Bullock Temple CME Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kevin graduated from Forrest City High School in 1987. Upon graduation Kevin enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marines Corps Kevin went to Desert Storm and Afghanistan. In 1995 Kevin moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to be near his biological mother. Kevin begin working with his “Pops” (his stepfather, Gralon McFadden) for Mac’s Construction Company for twelve years and later they operated their own food truck, McFadden & Son’s Barbecue, until their retirement. After retirement he and his Pops did odd jobs for different family members, mostly cutting yards but they were always together. After retirement Kevin got his calling from GOD and became a minister. He consistently talked of his love for God and the talks he had with God about his alcoholism. Kevin loved all his nieces and nephews and always said he was blessed to be loved by so many!
Kevin is proceeded in death by his biological father Henry Elston and his adoptive parents Smith and Delores Foy.
Kevin is survived by his Mother Ella McFadden and Stepfather Gralon McFadden of Little Rock, AR, Daughter; Brittney Nicole Foy of Memphis, TN, Stepdaughters; Jamie Robinson of North Little Rock, AR, Alexandria Robinson of Sherwood, AR, and Heather Robinson of Sherwood, Arkansas, Grandchildren; Jayce Foy, Quinton Foy, and Bryson Foy all of Memphis, TN. Sisters; Terri Holloway of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Marsha Moreland-Wren of Little Rock, AR, Dana Stubblefield of Jacksonville, AR, Mecca Muhammad of Little Rock, Arkansas, Gaylon Muhammad of Memphis, TN, Aminah Muhammad of Little Rock, Arkansas, Doris Foy of Indianapolis, IN, Anita Foy of Indianapolis, IN, and Crystal Owens of Colorado Springs, CO.
