Keena Easter Freeman

Keena Easter Freeman was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 1, 1956, to Alice Johnson Jones and Mr. Freeman.

He departed this life January 4, 2024

He accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.H. Hill

Keena graduated from Little Rock Mills High School

On October 19, 1975, he married Deborah Dillard and to this union one child was born.

Keena was a jack of many trades who loved nothing more than sitting on his porch barbequing for friends and family.  He was well known for sense of humor and laughter.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and two brothers: Paul McClain and Dorsey Johnson.

Keena leaves to cherish his love and memories, his children: Shakeena Dillard, Anthony (Crystal) Freeman, Kenya Freeman of Little Rock, AR, and Keenadean Freeman of Marshall, TX; One Maternal Sister: Canta (Ira) Wells of Mandeville, LA; two uncles: Emmanuel (Easter) Broadway of Lake Charles, LA and Calvin Johnson of Marianna, AR; one aunt: Mary (Alvin) Rogers of Little Rock; The Wesley Siblings: Lucille Wesley, Margaret (Henry) Shannon, Cassaundra Shepherd, Alfred Wesley, Oscar Wesley Jr., and Benny Shepard; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 2:00- 3:00pm with services beginning at 3:00pm at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Home Memorial Chapel, 5300 West 12th Street, 5300 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
