The Life Story of Janette
Janette Johnson was born on May 13, 1955, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Florence Lovett and Lee Albert Johnson. Janette stepped into her eternal home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by both parents, siblings Calvin Lovett and Dian Baker Cloird, niece Diamond Jones and nephew Carlton Daniels.
She graduated from Parkview High School in 1974. She was on the bowling league for many years. Janette enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. She worked at BEI Precision Systems and Space Company in Maumelle, Arkansas for over 30 years and retired in 2022.
She loved cooking, sharing her recipes and teaching nieces and nephews how to cook. During this time, she shared stories of our family’s history and made memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
She gave her life over to Christ at an early age and was a devote member of the Greater Second Baptist Church for more than 40 years. For many years, she blessed us with her melodies in the GSBC choir. She served faithfully even during her failing health.
She leaves to cherish her memories to five siblings: twin brother Arnett Johnson, Kimberly Smith, Carl Daniel Sr., Richard Baker and Laverne Sanders, 3 nieces: Shunika Williams, Amanda Clark, LaToya Daniels and one special great niece Nia Mumit, 6 nephews: Courtney Williams, Carl Daniels Jr., Charlton Daniels, Matthew Daniels, Anthony Cloird and David Sanders and a host of special nephews and nieces, great nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
