Janet Ann Washington, the second eldest child of Nathaniel and Helen Washington, Sr., was born on February 26, 1962. She confessed her hope and faith in Christ at an early age at the First Baptist Church located at 901 Calhoun Street - Little Rock, Arkansas – 72202, under the leadership of Reverend I. V. Harrison, where her membership remained until her passing. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Washington, Sr., mother, Helen Washington, sister, Brenda Washington-Johnson, and niece, Lacie Washington Thomas.
Janet was the Queen of all Trades and was known as “The Life of the Party”. She loved her family dearly. She was also known as the best peach cobbler maker in the family.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her daughter, Bonnie (Jarrod, Sr.) Anthony of Sherwood, Arkansas; three brothers, Nathaniel Washington, Jr. (Felina), Charles Washington, Sr., both of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Vincent Jackson of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Debra Brown of Las Vegas, Neveda and Michelle Jackson of Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Brayden D. Johnson and Jarrod Anthony, Jr.; two granddaughters, Kerriona Anthony and Jazlyn Anthony, as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
