Jacqueline Louise Cobb Brunson

Jacqueline L. Cobb Brunson was born on March 25, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Andrew and Eunice McKillion Cobb of Sweet Home, Arkansas. She was the third daughter of five beautiful girls born to this union. 

In 1964 she united in holy matrimony to Vastie Brunson, Jr., and to their union three children were born.

She attended Sweet Home Elementary School, J.C. Cook Junior High, and Sweet Home Junior/Senior High School, and throughout her career years, she was employed by Teletype, Timex, AT &T, Little Rock Furniture Manufacturing, Season’s Warehouse, and Cobb Court Reporting with her sister, Gloria Cobb.

She accepted Christ at an early age at the Zion Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. W. C. Porter of Sweet Home. She also attended Center Ridge Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Kirbit S. Cole of Little Rock.

She later joined Awareness Center International (ACI), formerly Trumpet in Zion Ministries, under Apostle Lawrence E. Braggs, Sr., where she remained in service until her health declined and the Lord called her home for eternal rest.

She will be remembered as being a very hard worker and all her attention was focused on raising her children and church.

Preceding her in death include her parents, Andrew and Eunice McKillion-Cobb; one son, Victor Brunson; three sisters, Sharon Curry, Gloria Cobb, and Barbara Littlejohn; one aunt, Eloise Giles; cousin, Dorothy Collins, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Wendy (Zarold) Brunson-Daniels of Scott, AR; one son, Mark Brunson of Sweet Home, AR; one sister Jo-Ella Harris of Little Rock, AR, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
