Gretta Barnum

Gretta Lynn Barnum was born April 9 ,1957 to Sevella E. Woods and Paul Woods. She departed this life on January 7, 2025. She was raised in Lonoke, Arkansas. She loved sewing and knitting, reading and doing cross word puzzles. She was baptized and gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member Brown Street Church of Christ. Her smile would light up any room and was kind, loving, God-fearing Woman. She was known in the family as “Mrs. Fix it All”.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of memories to be cherished by her children: Candi McDonald (Mac) of Sherwood, Shalonda Barnum of Lonoke, Sharonda Barnum of Lonoke, Elisha Barnum, III of Maumelle, Lakeisha Barnum of North Little Rock, and Cynthia Pryor (Marlon) of Sherwood; grandchildren, Cameron Connors, Justin Fudge, Tyra Abston, Sydni Barnum, Madison Barnum, Dionte Palmer, Kynnedy Jennings, Lovely Thornton, Eli Thornton, Zoie Barnum; sisters, Brenda Springs, Toni Moragne (Donald), and Karen Scott (Darnell); brothers, Kelvin Woods and Clifton Woods "Jackie", as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gretta was preceded in death by her parents, Sevella Woods and Paul Woods, husband, Elisha Barnum, Jr. and uncle, Ural Patton.

Gretta was a wonderful wife, mother, bonus mother, and friend.
