Gary Jerome Ervin, Sr.

Gary Jerome Ervin was born November 14, 1972, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Patty Gail Irvin and James Wofford, Sr. Gary accepted Christ at an early age was baptized at Greater Christ Temple Pentecostal Church, under the leadership of Bishop Leodies Warren. 

Gary attended high school at Parkview High School. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling and most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

Gary Ervin departed this life on February 5, 2025.He is preceded death by his wife; Kelley Ervin; father, James Wofford, Sr.; siblings, Broderick Brown, Alethia Blackmon, Melony Jackson, and Erica Irvin.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Seqoura Ervin, Gary (Keisha) Ervin, Jr., Tramaine Ervin, Jada Ervin, Miyona Ervin, Brandon "BJ" Summerville, Dagan Coleman, D'Andre Rice, Trevion Ervin, Joshua Ervin, Kaniya Ervin, Garon Ervin, La’Delle Ervin, Olivia Ervin and Idris Ervin; bonus son, Ronnie Harris Jr.; mother, Patty Gail Irvin; siblings, Ray (Latasha) Jackson, Jackie Brown, Jr., Freda (David) Rodgers, Jaclyn (Kenneth) McCardel, Corrine Irvin, Erica (Shea) Chattman, Tammie Moore, Betty Johnson, Stephanie Johnson, Pamela Allen, Kenneth (Carolyn) Johnson, James (Lawanda) Wofford, Jr., 20 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
