Ethel Jean Love, born February 22, 1942, in Cato, Arkansas to Roscoe and Claudia Love, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Roscoe and Claudia Love, and her siblings, Robert, Otto, Herbert, Laydell, Nathan, Martha, and Gracie.
Ethel attended and graduated from Harris High School. She retired from working at A.O. Smith in Little Rock. Ethel proudly served on the Mother’s Board at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church over 20 years. Some of her greatest enjoyments were serving on the Mother's Board, spending time with family, watching sports and playing cards with friends. Ethel mostly loved her Dallas Cowboys!
Ethel Love was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness and love. Her dedication to her family is truly inspiring. Ethel's legacy lives on through her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will always cherish the memories they shared with her. Her commitment to serving on the Mother's Board at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years is a testament to her faith and compassion. Ethel's love for her Dallas Cowboys was unwavering, just like her love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Ethel, this devoted loving mother, leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Barbara Parks (L.C), Sarah Love, Debra Love, Paula Love-Trent (Billy), Mable Love-Morris; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, as well as a special sister-in-law Mae Love, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
