Coy Lee Grimes, Sr.

Coy Lee Grimes was born August 2,1960. Coy enjoyed listening to music, riding four wheelers, spending time with his children, and loving his grandchildren. He also enjoyed creating a yearly community garden. He would feed family and friends. Coy enjoyed helping others and caring for his children. Family was a “Big Deal” in Coy’s life. Coy had a daily routine he and his family would follow to keep the family-owned business up and running. Coy and his son were a powerful combo. Car shows were showtime for Coy. Coy is preceded in death by his parents LC Grimes and Dorothy Wilson, one brother Johnny Davis, two sons Corey Horton and Shannon Horton, two grandchildren Alexis and Labarbara Robinson.

Coy leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving son: Coy Grimes Jr, daughters: Corderica (Brandon) Miller, Amanda (Peter), Amber, Latoya Robinson, Klemmia Herd and Ja’Nyia Burks, one honorary son: Zeke Scruggs, one bonus son: Jadan, twenty-one grandchildren that he loved him, two  sisters: Albertsin Winston and Jennette Grimes, two brothers: Jerry Davis and Christohper Grimes, three  cousins that was always one phone call away: John Sims, David Winston, McKinley Mitchell and a host of family and friends.
