Cody V. Deadmon

September 17, 1968 — January 9, 2024

Cody Vashon Deadmon, the cherished sibling, father and grandfather, departed from this world on January 9th,2024 at the tender age of 55.

Cody's spiritual journey began at an early age when he joined Thayer Street Baptist Church. It was there he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Born on September 17th,1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Cody was the son of Carolyn Sue Deadmon and Gearld Wayne Norwood. Unfortunately, both parents preceded him in death. Despite this, Cody’s memories of them were always dear to him.

In 1988, Cody graduated from Central High School. After graduation, he moved to California, where he discovered his love for cooking. He returned to Arkansas and started working at Frankie's Cafeteria, where he gained a reputation for his cooking skills. His welcoming smile and kind hearted spirit endeared him to all the customers at the restaurant.

Cody was a multi-talented individual, and he had a knack for fixing things. He had a natural aptitude for figuring out how things worked and how to repair them when they broke down. Cody also has a passion for skating. He was one of the best skaters around. His skating skills were so good that he started teaching others how to skate. His legacy in the skating community continues today, and many of the most talented skaters today were influenced by Cody and his teaching.
