Chima Joseph Onyenwe passed on from this life and into the arms of Yahweh on January 12, 2024 before his birth. He was the infant son of Emmanuel Tochi Onyenwe and Amber Eskridge Onyenwe born on January 13, 2024.
Chima has a special meaning of, “God knows” and the name Joseph has significance in meaning, “God shall add.” Though our hearts are saddened that our baby boy has received his heavenly wings, we understand that only God truly knows the purpose behind our pain. We believe that God shall add newness of joy and peace in our sorrows.
His precious life was, from the start, a ministry of teaching, as he taught his mother and father about adjusting to the unexpected sorrows of life. He has taught us to forgive, heal, and to trust in the Lord when your faith is tested the most. He will continue to minister to the lives of people who are hurting, through the testimonies of his family.
In truth, one thing that is guaranteed in this life is tribulation (John 16:33 KJV). But it is through our pain that we come to trust God, His plan, His very real hope, and His perfect will even more.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His mother, Amber Eskridge Onyenwe, and Father Emmanuel Tochi Onyenwe; Four siblings: David, Daniella, Akachi, and Aiden; and a host of family and friends. He will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, 12:00 pm at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 5300 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204
