Catherine “Rina” Holloway, born November 7, 1967, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the beloved daughter of the late Roosevelt and Betty Sue Holloway. A proud graduate of North Little Rock High School.
Rina embraced her faith early, accepting Christ and carrying His teachings throughout her life. Rina devoted over 20 years to the Department of Human Services and later contributed significantly to the American Cancer Society. Her unwavering commitment to serving others highlighted her unique gift for servant leadership. Her talents extended beyond her professional work.
With a remarkable eye for detail, Rina transformed garage sale finds into beautiful interior designs. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, where she used her creativity to design stunning Christmas trees. Spreading joy and festivity to many homes.
Cooking was Rina's passion, and her kitchen was always filled with delicious meals ensuring that no one left her home hungry. She took great pleasure in preparing meals and creating a welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. Rina’s life was deeply enriched by her family.
She is survived by her sister, Shelia Holloway, her brothers, Calvin (Melanie) Bailey and Rodney Sanders. Her children Katoria Nelson (Justin), Jonathan Ford (Lory), Christopher Holloway, and Rodney Campbell Jr. Her grandchildren Ayden Nelson, Aubrey Nelson, Javonte Ford, Julianna Ford, Koby Ford Christopher Holloway Jr., and Nayloni Campbell were the light of her life.
Rina left us on August 26, 2024. Her love and devotion to her family will be remembered with deep affection. Her legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
