Byron Wayne Kelley
Byron Wayne Kelley was born to James McGhee, who proceeded him in death, and Barbara (Ivory) Johnson. He had six siblings, Sharron Johnson, Ivory Johnson, Marcus Johnson, Kelley Johnson, Taurus Johnson, and Ava McGhee.
Byron gave his life to Christ at an early age. At the age of 19, he had his first child, Bianca Kelley, and soon followed the others, Deserae Kelley, Chelsea Kelley, and Sabrina Kelley. Byron met his wife Sharille, and his family of four grew to fourteen including, Datrietch Woods, Tykell Patterson, Charmel Patterson, Terell Patterson, Samuel Patterson, Byron Kelley, Jr., Breanna Kelley, Bailee Kelley, Brilie Kelley and Bryson Kelley. Byron had thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
Byron took interest in becoming a chef at the Villas Restaurant on University. He was known for working for Percy at Sims Barbeque, where he was known as “Pickles”. Byron was also known by everyone as the DVD man and the neighborhood cook.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 10, 2022 at 11:00am at Bountiful Blessings Church, 4424 West 30th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. The family will receive friends Friday December 9, 2022 from 7:15pm-8:15pm in the Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
