Burdean (Taylor) Black
Burdean (Taylor) Black was the first of ten children: born to Allie B & Ozena Taylor, in Marvell Arkansas. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age, at Coffee Creek Baptist Church. Burdean attended Coffee Creek School, during her Elementary & Intermediate years; and graduated from MM Tate High School. She went on to pursue a Degree in Elementary Education, from University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
December 29, 1972; Burdean married (LT) Louis T. Black Jr & they moved to Chicago, Ill after their nuptials. Upon their relocation to Chicago, Burdean began teaching at a Catholic Elementary School. Burdean served in the Church for years, as Deaconess & Sunday School Teacher. To this union they had two children; Shawana Black & Louis T. Black III.
Burdean leaves her memories with, two children: Shawana Black & Louis (Micaela) Black III; six sisters: Gloria (Will) Bennett, Seretha (Hugh) McField, Barbara (Samuel) Gooding, Patricia Nesby, Shawana (Homer) Coleman; & two grandchildren: Lucke’ Holman & Cadence Webb; a host of family: nieces, nephews, cousins & children she emotionally adopted along the way.
A visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11-12 noon with services beginning at 12:00 noon, Eagles Saints Outreach Ministry, 3405 Baseline Road, Little Rock, Arkansas .
