Alfred L. Barbee was born on November 17, 1957, and he passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Rucks, his mother, Anita L. Hill, and his sister, Nina Sue Gaines.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member at the Damascus Spiritual Church under the leadership of Bishop Harris.
He attended Harris Elementary and Harris High and later went to Job Corps, where he mastered printing. He was housed for 5 years in Florida and spent 25 years in Charleston Missouri. He enjoyed reading his bible and watching church on T.V.
Alfred leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather, Glistern Hill, Sr., sisters Vickey Barbee, Aundrea Wilson, and Angela (Fabian) Booth and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 2:30pm-3:30pm at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 5300 West 12th Street.
