Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 14, 2000, Alexia Lewis was given back to our heavenly father November 30, 2024. To her loved ones, she was affectionately known by "Pootie".
With her loving personality, she was a light to all whom she encountered. A soul we may feel was taken too soon, but this was all a part of His bigger picture. An inspiration to entrepreneurs in Arkansas and beyond, she was one of the hardest working women you could ever meet. Alexia’s academic excellence, pursuit of knowledge, and enterprising spirit earned her three diplomas. She graduated from eStem High School, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and The Simpson Academy of Cosmetology with her Esthetician’s License. She was the proud owner of a very successful, small business in the Central Arkansas area. Alexia was known to be full of life, a true joy to be around, and always willing to help anyone she could. No matter what challenges she was facing in her own life, she was always there for others. Providing words of comfort, a listening ear, or encouraging words were all part of the special blessing of knowing her. When she set her mind to it and said she was going to do something, that is exactly what she did. Her pursuit of perfection was her drive to continue being the best in all of her personal and business ventures. She took no short cuts, and she exceeded even her own expectations of what she set her mind to do.
Alexia was proceeded in death by her Father Willie Lewis, Grandmother Lucille Lenoard, Grandfather Elton Williams, SR; Heavenly Uncle Antonious Williams and a host of ancestors. Alexia’s life legacy will be lovingly remembered by her Parents: Laveta Long (Tracy Long), Bonus Mother: Rosalind McCray (Derrick McCray), Grandparents: Lowrean Williams , Siblings: Darrell Freeman, Brea Lockhart, A’Ryan Austin, Deshalay Hubbard, Jaylon O’neal, Willie Lewis Jr, Isiah Walker, Tykana Clay, Nadia Crosby ; Nephews: Marshall Freeman, Ashton O’neal; Nieces: Aniya Fullwood, Reyna Clay; Uncles: Elton Williams Jr, , Jason Burnett, Brock Burnett; Aunts: Doris Williams, Marinda Fennesse, Antoinette Williams and our extended village the Long’s and the Lockhart’s, immeasurable numbers of aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, friends, and likely some strangers due to her magnetic presence! Alexia was welcomed into heaven by people who loved her dearly.
